Increase in processing fees from 1 April 2022

We regret to announce that the editorial costs for producing contributions necessitated an increase from ZAR180 to ZAR200 per page from 1 April 2022. Unfortunately, we had an increase in our editorial costs that necessitated an increase in the processing fees. However, we tried to keep the increase as low as possible.

PER / PELJ remains dedicated to publishing peer-reviewed original work. The online platform has increased the journal's visibility, and contributions are read globally. On 24 February 2022, the journal has had 4465 citations on GoogleScholar with an h-index of 28 and an i10-index of 135. In 2021 the journal was evaluated and scored an IBI factor of 4 (the highest score is 5).

We are indebted to our authors for their continued trust in the journal as their preferred publication platform. Last but not least, we thank our editors for their dedication to assuring the quality of the contributions we publish.
